BC ATUS Wave-2 Survey Summary

October 1st 2025

The British Columbia Activity-Time Use Survey (BC ATUS) is a longitudinal study funded by Environment and Climate Change Canada, focusing on understanding time use patterns and travel behaviours in British Columbia. This report covers the Metro Vancouver region, a large urban area with a population of approximately 2.7 million, and the Okanagan region, a smaller urban area with a population of approximately 250,000, based on data from the second wave of the survey  conducted in two parts: between October and December 2024, and between February and March 2025.
